Hi guys,
I've been in the guitar wilderness for a couple of years, I used to lurk on this forum regularly and always found it very helpful with lots of friendly informative people about. (I hope it's still the same!)
I have not been playing very much due to lack of space in the house, and getting amp/pedals/plugging in/putting away has killed the pick up and play factor of the guitar, so I finally took action.
I have bought a pocket pod of ebay, with the intention of pluging my MP3 player into it for backing tracks, and then plugging headphones into the pocket pod to practise without annoying my better half (another reason I have not been playing much!)
Any recommendations for headphones for this purpose? I am on a bit of a budget but would still like to make the right choice as there are so many options out there.
Ideally looking to spend £30 or less. I know this involves quite alot of comprimise in terms of quality, but I can't justify spending £100's on gear for a guitar habit.
I don't really know what I am talking about (you might have guessed that already!) but I gather I need fairly "flat" response headphones so that they wont "colour" the sound of the pod (I guess as the POD alreads models amps with cabs I dont need headphones changing the sound).
A secondary issue would be sound leakage. (Not the end of the world, but if I can practise on the sofa next to my wife without her hearing much through the headphones that would be a bonus, but I can take or leave on this feature!)
Thanks for reading,
Bob
