Found this video on Youtube of a tour of the Fender factory in 1959. It's really fascinating to me to see how something as futuristic looking as a Strat was made in such a low-tech. mass-produced manner. It shows the design and engineering genius of Fender, Tavares et al I think.

I've seen stills from this video before but never the actual movie.

I saw it before... the way that old man cuts the body blank is just terrifying... I'd certanly cut all my fingers if I try to do it the same speed :lol:
