Aftermath set- neck cleans ?
« on: June 02, 2011, 01:55:38 AM »
Hey All

just joined . really eyeing off an aftermath set for a LP style, blackwood body , rosewood fret board guitar to play thorugh a 3 channel dual recto .

I have no doubt the bridge slays on high gain which is part of my bands sound.

How are the neck cleans ? I use allot of big clean sounds , arp stuff  with delay or reberb .

I'm replacing a SD 59 neck and a  that I have an A4 mag in at the moment and a custom 5 bridge that I have tried a few different mags in . I like it and have used it for a long time but keen to get away from the SD set for something new . I have a tele with an ALT8 in the bridge and I dig the full mids through the recto so thats why I'm keen on the AM

Will the AM neck give me nice fat cleans or should I look at other BKP necks ?

My band is allong the lines of perfect circle, tool, faith no more

any advice would be awesome
