i just listened to your clips, nice one, both clean and diiiirty tones are cool, im gonna order a set later on today!!!

does it matter whether i have open or covered...coz they are going in a white strat with maple neck/fingerboard, and the normal colour woould look a bit silly....if i have them open it'll be white, covered, chrome/nickel.

but does it affect the sound at all?

No covers don't affect sound on BKP's as Tim winds them to match an uncovered set. Hope this helps.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the question but having white open coils will not change the sound of the pickup in any way. So it will be just like the sound in the demo, depending upon your guitar and set-up of course.

okay I was going to make a thread asking this but thought i'd get a better reponse here :)

What does 'organic' tone actually mean?

I'm thinking of getting a Nailbomb for Neck solos (and rhythm) and it's for my SG. what do you think?

Organic = pure, unadulterated, raw.In this context it's refering more to the aggresive mid range presence the Nailbomb has.Punchy without being nasal or hinky.

how did you get such a punchy sound on your recording
its gotta be more than just compression
and how did you manage to have your output volume so loud without clipping? no matter how compressed ect i make my recordings they always have clipping untill i turn everything down waaaaaay too much what am i doing wrong compared to what your doing so right?

ps that recording was bloody unreal so well made! the playing and production was top class
you have a really wild playing style thats pretty original but still sounding like heavy metal its just excelent
