So - a dead body on the line has meant that Mr Bump gets a day working from home!  Some people are just SO considerate!

This means splitting my time equally between:

  • Replying aggressively to emails, this simulating an "I give a sh!t" attitude in the hope that people at work think I do
  • Watching MTV or VH1 (just saw a really great King of Leon vid)
  • Continuing to fall back in love with my Charvel/Trilogy Suite

Who thought Tuesdays could be this great???

 :D

No, it was cool, honest - something about "the South"...

Anyway, my day wasn't quite as good as expected - the Water "people" came to dig up my driveway (there was a leak, apparently), and spent the whole day digging etc AND cutting off my water supply!  When they did manage to reconnect it, the pumped a load of silt into my water system and clogged up all the toilet cistern filters!!!

So - need to take tomorrow off and wait for their plumber to come over and fix it!

You could write this stuff.

^ just read that back and it seems very camp, in that I'm waiting in for the plumber...  you know, and ooh-err missus sort of Brit Porn campness...
