I thought the same.
So what was the outcome?

Well I weighed it up and though, I'm not gonna be able to afford another 66' rickenbacker, even if i re-sell the gibson acoustic. So i'm gonna save up and buy a Taylor Baby to release my Acoustic GAS and keep the rest of the guitars lol.

A baby taylor is a bit of a polar opposite to a Hummingbird. I've played a very good example of the baby and it was a sweet and charming little guitar. Meanwhile someone I know has a Hummingbird that I've played on numerous occasions and it's like a warm lap piano. The little Taylor makes you want to play cute spunky stuff and the bird makes you want to sing and/or compose.
I say save your money, keep an open mind and see what comes up.

Yeah, I would swap now, but I just picked up the rickenbacker before messaging back and...It does play so well and has a great chime. I could buy a gibson hummingbird again, but I doubt I could buy an affordable 1966 rickenbacker 365.
