Most suitable pickup for Bolt Thrower worship?
« on: July 17, 2011, 11:39:01 PM »
I really think about remaking an old warlock into a Bolt Thrower Riff machine :D
Which pickup would be optimal for this bone crushing kind of music?

A little inspiration for the ones unknown to this mighty force of a band:

I dont think the obvious actually....because the bass is such a huge part of the sound there.

I think, depending on guitar, nailbomb.

If the guitars dark; NB

If the guitars bright: WP

If the guitars quite balanced: nailpig.

Well, that miracle man + BOSS ODB-3 thing we did in the jam room last week was pretty much the "IVth Crusade" tone right there, bottled and ready to go.
