Brazilian modern rock (Cold Sweat and Black Dog content)
« on: July 20, 2011, 11:12:29 PM »
Hey, guys

here's a couple songs by my new band, Colidium

http://www.myspace.com/colidium/

we used a PRS McCarty with a Cold Sweat in the bridge and my '73 Les Paul Custom with a Black Dog in the bridge (there's just some quick neck Mule strumming somewhere in one of the songs)

amps used were a Zambelli Hyperdrive HD50 prototype, a Diezel Einstein and a heavily modded '73 Marshall JMP (all 50w amps), mostly boosted with a Zambelli tube screamer clone
cab was an oversized Mesa Recto cab with stock celestion v30's

mostly two tracks only on heavy rhythms

lyrics are in brazilian portuguese

we'll post a couple more songs soon

The sound isnt modern rock but alternative emo rock or something
the guitar tone is Gorgeous. crunchy and meaty.
i liked it.
but the music , of course, is not my style.
ah the drums could follow the quality of the guitars and vocals. the drums are lower quality mixing in comparison to the guitars and vocals.
the drums looks like hes beating a couple of Papeloes.
and the mix in general reminds me of the KATATONIA - DISCOURAGED ONES Cd.
