'Pig 90 ---> SG Jr.
« on: July 27, 2011, 05:47:30 PM »
I'm about to purchase an SG Jr., and I'm wanting to throw the Pig 90 in there.

This will be my alternate tuning guitar.
Tunings I use with my band:

-BADGBE
-AADGBE

How well would it hold up with a low B or A?

Should I look into ordering it with ceramic mags to keep it tight?

If I were to get ceramic mags, would strings 1-5 sound too shrill (since they are in E standard) ?

Thanks in advance.

Could be too much in the bass, but I have no experience with the Pig-90. All I know is that they are fat.
