New BKP for my EBMM Silo!
« on: August 02, 2011, 06:41:39 PM »
Hi guys!

My EBMM Silhouette (alder body) have 2 Dimarzio PAF Pro and FS1 on middle position.
I play hard rock and heavy metal (Van Halen, Journey, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Mr. Big etc.. etc..) and I think this PAF Pro very bassy.. which BKP is recommend for these tones? My Peavey Wolfgang have a pair of BKP VHII and is awesome but I want to try new pickups.. Rebel Yell, Cold Sweat? Suggestion?

My amp is a Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier and the cab is a Carvin Legacy with Celestion V30.

Thankssss

Everybody is suggesting the Cold Sweats to me, so those should work nicely for that sound.
I don't like the PAF Pro myself. Bassy and undefined. It works as a neck pickup in one of my Carvins, but I wouldn't recommend it...

Consider Holy Divers too. They're beefy in alder and clean up great. I think they're great for 80/90's-metal tones.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.
