gigantic rock n roll wall decals
« on: August 03, 2011, 03:13:27 AM »
hey friends-been away for a while-we had a rash of tornadoes in the US in April-I lost all belongings and gear to an ef-5 twister(she was massive, but we somehow lived, even after the top of the house fell on top of us...life is good!)
anyway, I have bought a new house and I will have a cool music room...I recall these massive 6' x 9' 3 panel wall decals sold a few yrs ago by an online company called redhotguitarshop..out of the UK,I believe....

this is a pic of one of the products...I want one for my room!!!after a lot of googlin',looks like I'm sh*t outta luck....
anyone know of/remember these?any info is greatly appreciated!
glad to be back-Shaman

I've got that somewhere! Used to only have the middle of the 3 parts up because I didn't have enough space :) Probably in storage somewhere still i'd imagine! No idea where it came from though, i'm afraid.

Blimey- sounds like you have had a bit of a time there and you sound very stoic. I am glad that you are OK though. Do you get insurance pay out for that and for losing your possessions?  Can't help with your question though.

yes...insurance has helped me payoff the old house and buy a new one-doing appraisal for all of my gear-had Les Pauls and Strat destroyed-Boogie Coliseum 2C+ amp destroyed, everything lost value or has been lost-the winds were 225 mph

my gear was upstairs....we should be dead...thats all that matters,of course-my wife,5yr old son,3 yr old son, greyhound, and ragdoll cat all made it out
Oli-read your message...I want that wall mural if you can locate....$$$$ 8)

Does that mean someone's going to find a valuable Fender Stratocaster in the middle of nowhere miles away having been flung at 225mph?

close..how about a PC-1 Jackson..haven't found it yet..nor will I, including many pedals,etc....(this is a pic of the room you see in the above picture, pre twister...)but most of my tubes actually made it-found about 80 % of them...of course, the six Sylvania power tubes in my Coliseum were obliterated :(
too many things to list...I think some things were stolen as well....my 1992 lefty LP Custom was literally standing in the middle of the rubble of the downstairs living room....beat to hell, but she earned the nickname "Excalibur", because thats exactly what she reminded me of
here is a video of the beast as it turned my house into toothpicks...
