Actually, I am looking for a Les Paul, but just not a "nice" one

I want one that's beat to shite and angry about it.

It does look a nice one!

The Traditional series appeals to me more than the "modernised" LP Standard 2008 (or whatever it's called) - but the downside is the bodies aren't weight-relieved so they all seem to be 9lbs+.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Juansolo's Edwards LP is quite light (as LPs go) ....and for sale!

That looks great. My favourite LP colour as well! Shame I can't afford it  :(

Cheers Andy!    I should be selling Edwards guitars, not buying them!  Actually I quite like the look of his PRS SE Soapbar...

I'm not really on the lookout for LPs as such, I already have a rather good Fujigen "Signature" LP which isn't much over the 8lb mark.  It's better than a Tokai I had (briefly) which cost three times as much.

I am always watching eBay for nice MIJ Gibson copies though, they can be very hard to resist.... what I need is to find some mugs like me, to sell some of mine to!

I love my Traditional. I'll love it even more once I get Nailbombs installed
The 57+ pickups are not my cup of tea, but otherwise the Traditionals are solid guitars that do capture what a Les Paul is about.

I sold a Goldtop Standard because it was weight relieved (well, hollowed out more likely). It didn't feel like I had a Les Paul on my shoulder and it lacked the density in its sound that I associate with a Les Paul.

The one in the OP has a very nice top indeed.
Hey Nonny Nonny mylord!

How long have you had the Fujigen one Philly. Another of your guitars that I didn't know about!

I like the Traditionals, but I'm not used to the weight and when I gig it's three or four set = 3-3.5 hours. Therefore I gig with (light swamp)ash-HSS-strats. Still would like to have a proper Les Paul.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

There was definitely an NGD thread on that one Ian.  I wasn't embarrassed about it because it was one of my very rare (almost) bargains  :
