considering that Henry is the guy who previously brought us the Firebird X, that says something.

The Firebird X is being reviewed in Guitarist next month. I'm really hoping that they give it a review it deserves (and also run a story about the factory raids)
I think I hate being indecisive.

Which, to be fair, won't necessarily be a negative one!    :P

:D In the hands of Simon Bradley it will sound exactly the same as every other demo he has done.

I'm just hoping that the chaps at Guitarist do an honest review and don't get swayed by corporate bullsh!t

Did you read the review?

Basically said the guitar itself is OK if you don't mind the looks, but all the electronic gubbins is over-complicated and a bit hit-or-miss soundwise.  Pretty much what you'd expect, basically!

I saw Queensryche once, can't remember if it was after Mindcrime or Empire.  Might have been the tour you're talking about, it was at the Kentish Town Forum (or whatever it is now)?  But I think I missed the support band.

Terrible gig, I was stuck at the back and couldn't see a thing.

True, every guitar sound the same with his crunchy open chords. Proof that tone is in the fingers... in a bad way.

Yeah - read it but was a little disappointed that they didn't launch into a tirade of abuse! I know that they have to try and give a balanced opinion but wonder what they really felt about it. I think there were enough hints in the review that lead me to believe they really didn't like it at all.
I think I hate being indecisive.

its possibly the closest thing to a truly negative review i have ever seen in guitarist.  really like they were trying very hard to find something positive to say

Actually no, other negatives included the Gibson Tiger strype LesPaul (another one of those questionable experiments) and the Gibson Melody Makers. A pattern emerges ;-)
