Fretboard Question

I have a rosewood fretboard on my guitar right now and am planing on changing it to an ebony one (With Iommi Cross inlays!). Do y'all have any idea how this my affect my tonality?

You're changing the fretboard? And you don't know how it will affect the sound?!

yah u heard right, im changin thu fretboard. I hate the rosewwod one on my Epi SG and I found a place where I can get a 24 fret ebony fretboard with MOP Iommi Cross inlays custom made for $100 dollars flat. I have played Guitrars w/ ebony boards be4 just never owned one so I wanted to ask how other people thought they sounded compared to rosewood.
