Cheers, I can be neat if I wire them in the box. Stuff that was built outside or is just damned complicated, not so much ;)

very neat :)

used the pedal live for the first time last night - sounded totally hifi. need to play around with it some more.

Sad that I can remember doing that one by the resistors on the switch. They're better switches than the blue ones (more robust than the MIC blue things), but they're a swine to get all the resistors and cables on. I think I've tried a different orientation with them every single time and still can't find an easy way of doing it.

Ah well, won't be doing any more... Well not like those ones anyhow ;)

GwEm, I'm surprised to see you using a Klon type drive. Glad you like it. The inside is immaculate; juansolo does crazy-good work.

No probs.

Careful when you solder them (probably best to socket). I use a *really* low wattage iron and still managed to crack a couple of those. They're really fragile.

There are other (not as nice) boards out there. One that I fancy doing is a double klone. As there's a board out there with no buffers or charge pump. The pump is no problem to add, to be fair niether are the buffers. But being like that means it'd be cool to do two in a box, the second as a fixed gain stompable boost. Might work, might not. Worth a go.

Just got a couple of other pedals to get out of the way first (one for Matt, one for Phil and the tube thing for you to try). Been waiting for some deliveries from the states for weeks now. I can only think that customs are being slack. :(

yes, you're quite right - i usually like my overdrive pedals to be characterful and change the sound in a more noticeable way. was looking for something different though.. and this is just the ticket.

While I am not always looking for euphony or colouration in my drive pedals, and while I LOVE the Klon, it has never captured my interest beyond, 'oh, that's nice'.

Here's something I've got custom-made for my specific order.
I wanted to have a bi-compressor (Analog.man -like) with ROSS grey box and Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer. I decided to have a Mastodon-theme outfit for it :)

Works fantastic with a bass too. I use this for 80s pop tunes mainly.
