c-bomb or painkiller or aftermath, u need more mids than the MM will provide for that music. Trust me the PK might surprise you, I took a risk and replaced my MM set with PK set in my ESP SV just tonight (drop C tuning)- supposedly a bright guitar like yours - light, alder, maple neck-thru, ebony board, and I tell ya, the PKs KILL the MM in this guitar. My ESP is alive again and I'm loving it! the MMs just didn't work in that guitar. I was worried the PK might be shrill and too bright /harsh since I tried a duncan distortion in the same guitar several years ago and it was horribly harsh and treble bite was ear piercing, but PKs just rule mate!
