Mirace Man Bridge in B-standard???

So....What does everyone think???

Guitar: Alder body, carved Maple Top.  Bolt-on Neck - Flamed maple.  Super strat type, w/ fixed bridge; H-H set up.

The axe is going to be pretty bright, and I was thinking that the Miracle Man might be something good for versatility.  I have a Painkiller neck, sitting around that I think might sound pretty cool and I was thinking that a MM bridge might be cool too.

I play in B-standard and am in a death/black metal band.

Thoughts?? Suggestions??? Comments???  :D

c-bomb or painkiller or aftermath, u need more mids than the MM will provide for that music. Trust me the PK might surprise you, I took a risk and replaced my MM set with PK set in my ESP SV just tonight (drop C tuning)- supposedly a bright guitar like yours - light, alder, maple neck-thru, ebony board, and I tell ya, the PKs KILL the MM in this guitar. My ESP is alive again and I'm loving it! the MMs just didn't work in that guitar. I was worried the PK might be shrill and too bright /harsh since I tried a duncan distortion in the same guitar several years ago and it was horribly harsh and treble bite was ear piercing, but PKs just rule mate!

- I have a C-pig in a Charvel San Dimas
- C-bomb, w/ two sinners in a Caparison Dellinger
- Painkiller set in a Superstrat custom.

I was considering getting the MM to change it up a bit.  I thought the low mids, and bass of the bright alder/maple guitar would even out the sound.

Maybe I will have to re-think my approach for this next axe...maybe something not quite as hot as some of the other models that is also a bit more open sounding.  It might be nice to have an axe that has a bit more versatility.

Okay so..

I just swapped out the painkillers in my mahogany axe and installed some aftermaths.  They are awesome.  I love the aftermath and can honestly say that is THE sound for that guitar.

Now...

I just got my new custom guitar that I described my first post, and it plays phenomenal!  BUT the pickups will not do.  I have an EVH frankenstrat pup in the bridge and a PAF pro in the neck.  I can't go back to production/machine wound pickups; they don't sound nearly as good.

I have decided on a painkiller neck (since I have one lying around), but I can't decide between another Aftermath bridge, or a MiracleMan bridge.

Can I have some opinions from people that perhaps have both, and the differences amongst them.  I am leaning towards the Miracleman, since I haven't tried that one yet, and think it would sound good in a bright guitar.  I am assuming the Miracleman is a darker sounding pup.

Thoughts anyone???

Why not try the Painkillers in your new axe? If you don't like them you can still go for something different.

I don't have an Aftermath but I have a Miracle Man. It has a lot of bass and low mids but I would not exactly call it dark. I have it in an alder strat where it replaced a Holydiver. It is a tad brighter than the Holydiver but not much but the guitar itself is quite dark. Before that I tried it in three other guitars - one of them was a very bright one - and it never sounded overly bright or overly dark.

I think I'll throw my PK in the axe until I am ready to get a new bridge pup.  It's a toss up between MiracleMan, HolyDiver, and Coldsweat.

I guess at some point I just have to pull the trigger.
