Got it today from Vintage and Rare in Denmark Street - and suddenly I can play like Gary Moore!  What an awesome OD unit, the best I have ever tried.  Thanks TO and Ratty for recommending it  :D

I bought the Big D from OT's recommendation and love it.  HBE makes some great pedals...

 It does look pretty complicated

Just fiddle round with the knobs till something sounds great is the best way I find to do stuff!

Do you find it a tad bright or is it just me? (tone pot is always 12oclock-3oclock somewhere)

Just spent a few hours with Joel and the other guys from HBE and what great guys they are

They are sounding keen to come over to the UK for the London show - especialy if they can tie it in with a beer/real ale festival (there is a reason for them to be called HOME BREW Electronics)

Tried the Powert Screa, mer next to the Big D and loved them both for different reasons. I already have a big D and love it for metal type stuff but really want a Power Screamer now. It really does the trick and sounds better than the old Ibanez units IMO

I also tried the Germania 44 and it was great for that edgy lead sound.

One of each would work well for me

I do hope to have them all on my stand at the London Show so guys can try them out with my guitars, & BKPs
