US Charvel Pointy San Dimas 2005 custom shop reissue, quartersawn neck, compound radius, alder body, OFR, Duncans.
Neck is not as thin as one might think, it is thin compared to a Tyler, but has just enough beef to make the guitar resonate and sing. It's very loud acoustically, more so than my MM Axis and chords are transparent and lively, and it stays fat up the neck.
This one was a guilty pleasure buy, as it has the same colour as my first decent guitar back in the days, a 3A model from the late 80s. So I am coming full circle and I really enjoy playing this a lot. It's a great US Hot Rod. Colour is much better than in the pics, hard to get right without a decent lens.
