Would love it hanging on a wall as an art piece, not as an instrument to play.

I can't decide which one is worst. This or the reverse V. Both just ugly as hell!  :D

Yep, I'm in agreement with Roo. Being a Fender man the only consolation here is that Gibson will probably be giving serious thought to a LP/Explorer hybrid - just to beat those new fangled Fender upstarts.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Yeah, that sums up my thoughts too!

I'm intrigued by how they did the practical details like cutting the bridges in half, and that half-Strat, half-Tele bridge pickup.  Do you think the trem actually works?

Took me a while to notice the tiered headstock - that's rather neat.

Well done Cheggers, he looks pleased with himself.

I have to admit that I quite like it too!

I have no desire to own one, I don't like it that much. I'm just kinda impressed with it and, like Philly, intrigued as to how some of the bits were done and will they actually work - eg the trem on three strings, etc. (On the surface it looks like it's a strat bridge pickup to me Philly)

I see it as a novelty thing, it's not attempting to be a "new" integrated design so it doesn't compete/compare with something like a reverse V. It's a "hey, I stuck two guitars together and it works!!" kind of thing thing. So, in my eyes, it doesn't end up "ugly" - it's just two halves of different guitars that I find attractive.

I am assuming it's a one-off, though. If someone's making and marketing them, then I think they're crazy f@ckers - even the people that "like" it (like me) are unlikely to actually buy it
