I saw Devil Driver TWICE! Hated them both times (they were support band both times). Guitar looks nice though, plus I like EMGs and don't know why so many people bash them all the time. They have their sound.
There's also this one:

Says 25.5" in the specs. No price there though.
Yes, EMGs have their sound and place, but it is not for me. Lot of people like them and thats fine, but I really dont. They can be made to sound good some stuff and I can say "yeah, thats a good emg sound", but it is not the sound I personally desire to have.
I really love a lively sound with a lot of mids and not overbaringly bassy... (I never ever scoop, the I rather boost mids for everything^^). For my "In Flames" axe (I donīt wanne imitate their rythm sound mind you) I think I will go with a aftermath bridge. For the neck...donīt know yet (here I am more ofter the actual sound the band uses), but thats another story.
That charvel is actually listed at 390 Euros by Thomann....even the neck through version is just 570 Euros. Might be an option, though I would like it to be more classic.
Thing is that it is alot cheaper then to get a warmoth kinda build...plus I donīt have anyone to assist me here in germany (if only I was in the UK). And even if someone on the forum would be kind enough to order and assemble one for me after I send him the money it would be too expensive....
I really need a european agile seller with a fender scale lp^^
And yes, I am aware that In Flames use gibson scale guitars, but it still is not for me. I am used to how fender scales play and with the way I like strings to feel I prefer longer scales too.
