Acoustic EP I've made
« on: September 29, 2011, 10:09:24 AM »
Last December I started on a new little adventure... That of singing & playing guitar at the same time, it's been something that's out foxed me for years.  Initially the plan was just to play a one off solo acoustic gig just to prove to myself I could do it.  On the 20th of December I did it, I played 4 songs at a gig in front of a crowd largely made up of my friends & I really enjoyed it....  Fast forward to now & I'm a front man of a band (it still feels really strange saying that, I'm just to being the bloke of guitar at the side).

We've recorded an acoustic demo in my house, it's a little rough & ready but I hope some of you like it.

Ha ha, yeah.  I like to mix it up a bit.  I think that comes from listening to too much Reel Big Fish.  Glad you like it man.  :)

Nice one. I have recently attended a local event where guys play their own songs. Sadly, many of them are dreary self indulgent message songs. If you'd have been there it would have been a far more pleasant experience. The other guitarist in my band recently did a great solo spot in a pub where I am due to do one next week. If I can do half as well as him, I'll be happy.
Good to see that you have a band around you. I hope you get lots of gigs.
