it sounded eerily similar to an american standard strat i used to owned. just add a mid-boost and that's what my aftermath is all about.

fwiw, it is wired to a single 500k volume pot. is there a possibility of wiring gone wrong?

Yeah, the thing $%&#in chimes, thats why you can play huge chords on it and still hear each note. It's awesome
