Help choosing bridge humbucker

Hey everyone,

I own a Blacktop series Fender Jazzmaster and really like the neck pickup (Duncan designed hot jazzmaster) but the bridge humbucker isn't what I'm looking for, it's very 'flat', lifeless and a bit thin to my ear.
My band play a kinda modern shoegaze-y, prog, riff-y, rock style.  I love the current neck pickup for clean sounds, so the bridge will be used pretty much exclusively for distorted/overdriven duties.  I'd love something that doesn't 'muddy up' if I'm playing single note riff type stuff, but has a nice mean growl for chords.

What would you guys recommend from BKP that covers those bases, I'm thinking probably the Black Dog?

I don't how much output the neck has, but the Holy Diver will do the trick I think. The BD is certainly to look at. It's middy with a smooth topend. Classic hot-PAF-tone.

Me either, there doesn't appear to be anything in the way of numbers/specs about the pickups in the Blacktop Jazzmaster online  :(  It's definately more of a 'vintage hot' output than a crazy balls-out amount though.  I'll see what I can dig up on the Holy Diver, thanks for the tip-off  :D

Just to know: HD and BD are two different characters, with different output. Both have serious mids.

I don't know the Black Dog but the Holydiver and the Crawler would fit the bill.
