NPAD(Preamp)

I've been looking on building up my rig again and I had it in my head that I want something very versatile and affordable. I sold a lot of my gear last year as I haven't been in a gigging band for a while and I just wanted 1 or 2 very good guitars and a decent amp. I'm looking to throw myself back into music again but what I have now isn't very versatile (especially since I owned a JVM410 last year) and I want a rig that would allow me to join any band I wanted to without my rig holding me back. So I'd been looking at all sorts of preamps, Digitech 2112, Marshall JMP-1, Rocktron Chameleon, Digitech Valve FX and ADA MP-1's.

I kept losing ebay auctions and got fed up with bidding so I searched hard last night and came across a Line 6 Pod Pro in good condition with the original packaging, cable and manual. I messaged the guy who happened to live 10 miles from me that I'd pick it up and pay cash in hand today. He agreed and I picked it up for £110.

I don't have a power amp or cab yet so I put it through the front end of my Jet City Combo and I've gotten great tones out of it. I'm really pleased with the results and it's going to be a keeper.

Next on the list is to get a valve power amp and cab. So If any one has a Valve Poweramp they'd like to trade for my Jet City JRC2112CA, PM me  :D

I think Oli is selling a great starfield valve power amp at a great price if he still has it you'd be wise to search through seconds out as theyre top amps that were made in leeds for ibanez in the late 80s early 90s.

Also good score the pods sure are versatile and do sound good through a nice valve amp.
