Bare Knuckle P90 Users

I think it would be cool to hear people's experiences with Bare Knuckle P90s, since out of the three Bare Knuckle pickup lines, there seems to be the least amount of discussion on this forum about them. So post what P90s you have, what you like about them, what guitar they're in, etc.

I had the lowest output P90s in a Les Paul Special DC.  They sounded fabulous.

I personally find the lowest output P90s to be the sweetest sounding.

I am having to relearn about BKP P90s as I was familiar and very fond of the older range BKP90, BKP91 and BKP92, but have yet to get as well acquainted with the Blue Note Half note and Nantucket.

So far I have only tried the Nantucket and it is a wonderful beast
previously I loved the BKP92 for doing more heavy metal things than a lot of people would expect of a P90

I tend to use the HSP90 - Mississippi Queen a lot though and find it utterly wonderful

I think that's true, certainly for clean tones lower output P-90s sound lovely.

I only have a BKP-91 in a Japanese Epiphone Les Paul Junior.  It's a vast improvement over the stock Epi pickups, but is noticeably hotter than the Gibson P-90s I've had in other guitars.

I'm quite keen to get a Nantucket for another Junior and see how it compares with the BKP-91.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Of my 9 BK pu's my BKP90 (neck pos in a JJ Retro) is probably my favourite. Sonically it has a foot in both the HB and SC camps.

On the website, the EQ charts for both the Nantucket and the Mississippi Queen are the same. I know those are rather arbitrary and are only meant to give a rough idea of the tone, so how have you found them to compare tonally? The clean sound clip of the Mississippi Queen is most present in the high mids/highs, and has rather subdued low end presence, while the Nantucket sounds a bit more balanced in its clip with more lows. Do you find that to be accurate from your experiences?

That would be great. I hope somebody can also review the Bluenote and the Nantucket. I'm in for a tele with p90's and they will be BKP.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

Yeah, unfortunately the P90 line is so new that very few people have used them it seems. They only came out last January. The Supermassives look awesome though, especially in the bridge position. That overdrive clip is killer.

well i got my P90 trio installed and holy cr@p they're insane. I have a Pig-90 in the bridge, a Stockholm in the middle and a super massive in the neck. I am curious to hear what it sounds like in a bridge for, but I a really happy with what this sounds like. The Pig90 is beyond heavy and nails that Goatsnake tone I've been chasing. The whole set up is super versatile. I can get killer tele tones and with the added phase switches for each pickup i can get crazy variations on those tones for new territory and dynamics. If you want some heavy p90 tones I highly recomend the supermassive and the pig 90. Simply crushing with heavy fuzz

This is a dumb question, and I'm not even sure if you can order one in ceramic, but I was wondering if the Pig 90 in the bridge was ceramic or alnico.
