New (Smaller But With More Space) Car Day
Been looking forward to this for about six and this morning they took away the Astra this morning and replaced with with a Fabia vRS. The Skoda is about 75% the size of the Turdis, yet seems to have loads more interior and boot space.
Took it for a quick drive a few minutes ago which turned into a very quick drive. It's a nippy little thing and the gearbox (flappy paddle DSG) is really nice. The wife accidentally did a massive wheelspin up the drive (in reverse), so that's enough for her to like it. She's already asked me how much one is compared to her Yaris :(
I'll try to post some photos before one of us parks it up a tree.
