Edwards intonation problem

I'm finding it impossible to correctly intonate my Edwards LP, due to the fact the bridge saddle faces the wrong way...
I've tried to reverse it, but I can't get the screw out of the bridge assembly. And yes, I know I have to remove the saddle retainer clip 8)
Any and all tips would be mighty welcome.

Sancho dunno if it will fit but I have the old bridge I took off my Gibson Lp Standard if its any good to you ,you can have it just let me know, where you based?

It's notable that that thread tells how to remove the screws/saddles from those little clips.  It's not so bloody easy putting them back again.... :?

Wez - I suspect that the bridge is more like the Nashville design from what he says rather than the older ABR1 style

ah yes, they are more fiddly.


for removal don't try and remove the clip from the screw, just unscrew to the point it should pop off.  when reinstalling put the clip in place, then put the screw in, once that has started add the saddle... absolutely no point trying to add the clip after the screw is in - it just wont happen

Thanks for the replies guys, but I'm still stumped. Retainer clips? What are they??
When I said "saddle retainer clip" I was talking about the wire that covers all six screws. Sorry if that caused confusion.
It's the ABR style bridge, Feline, not the Nashville style.

I live in Belgium. I'll check if a Nashville bridge (which I assume yours is) will fit the mounting studs.
