OMG - Private Stock Signature #37 has landed! (New pics added)

May I introduce PRS Private Stock Signature Limited #37 in "Rainforest" - the only one of the run of 100 in this colour.  Stock specs with a stoptail, "sinker" mahogany neck and Pattern Wide Fat neck profile.

Pickups are unique to this model for now and are "408s".  The neck is smaller, and the bridge larger, than a regular humbucker.  The mini toggles activate coil splits, but there are extra turns added to the split coil to turn it into a proper single coil in spec, rather than a compromised half-humbucker with the associated low output.  Supposedly the splits give a tonal change, but not a volume change...

The Private Stock guys certainly hold back the good stuff!  The colour helps too, it's exclusive to PS guitars and there are probably under 10 guitars worldwide in that colour.

That is a very striking instrument to be sure. I must be honest and say I'd still pick the DGT but you seem like a very happy man and that's all that counts! Hope you're as delighted, if not more, when you see it in the flesh.
