Anybody on the forum got one?

Thinkin about one for an early birthday present and thought it looks a little wierd and funky but still really playable.... That equals a cool guitar in my books :lol:

I dont have one but I'd like one. I played one in a music shop and loved it. I really like the looks of em aswell, kinda retro I guess.. Get it then BK-ify it :D

It was the Jet King 1 I tried out, the JK2 looks pretty good aswell though although too much like some Fender for my liking

Thats the general idea. Set of Mules to go in. But I was really wondering if anyone had come across workmanship problems with them and so on.

Most people on this forum seem open to the cheaper end of the market as well as the more expensive stuff so I though it was worth trying.

A lot of sites just have a load of gear snobs. My Gibson custom shop this, My PRS that.... eh' no time for that rubbish.

but anyway keep em comin

I was looking at the Jet King 2, mainly because of the mahogany body and the fat neck. A pair of mules would see the pickups right, as well. Not sure about workmanship problems, but you could check Harmony Central. From what I've read, they're pretty clean of bad craftsmanship.

The one I played felt great. Didnt seem to be any sharp frets or anything like that. I didnt check it all over for chips in the paint or stupid stuff like that. If you can, why not try one first?

well i havent tried one personally but a mate of mine has one (not sur whether its JK1 or JK2- its the one with the big scratchplate and two retro switches for coil-taps) and he gigs with it and gets some nice sounds out of it.
