Sorry to slant off a bit, but have you heard of the band Death Angel? I honestly don't know how big they are elsewhere, but they're one of my favourite bands. In fact, one of my bands is covering Kill As One. Hooray!

Ofcourse! i have all the albums "The ultra Violence" is a milestone.

(Steve Kaufman a guy who worked at the Jackson custom shop at the time made the Death Angel guitar for Rob in Death Angel with the custom graphic but i have a black with reversed headstock.)

So finally i got the guitar back from my tech  8)

I have only played the MM through my POD XT but i was floored how full, dynamic, open and tight it is at the same time.  It´s amazing how quite the pickup is!!. The bass is much tighter and great string separation even at high gain without been flubby.

The problem is the moddeler here but it sounds so much better then the Dimarzio Megadrive DP107 in the XT.

Somebody complained about the cleans in the MM but the cleans in the MM just blowed me away, awesome. Strong, belllike with it´s own charachter.

The MM can not really be compared with the EMG! but take a Dimarzio Megadrive DP107 and add the stuff above....something like that. I also put on the strings that was included in the box and hmm... i´m not used with them yet but they sound great. The MM is the best pickup i have had so far and i´m really looking forward to test it in my amp.

A beast, ain't it? I replaced my Lindy Fralins on my LP with a Mule and a MM in the bridge, and have actually found mixing the tones to be my favourite, when clean - I hardly used both before. Of course, for metal it's a completely different story, and an awesome one at that.

Oh, and I almost forgot - yeah the ultra-violence is fantastic, but I struggle listen to it and the Art of Dying (my favourite) back to back/mixed up, as the production is so bad. Doesn't stop it being a classic in my books, but a remaster would be ace. Whaddya reckon?
Hoble Guitars. Mule + MM so far.

A mix is a very good idea. I will put the nailbomb in the bridge of my Jackson. But Mule in the neck? what does it sound like? need a better neckpickup for my DA. I like very clean HB pickups in the neck. In my jackson RR1 i have a Bill Lawrence 500L and it sounds great.

What i reckon in that thrash type of albums is simply all Agent Steel albums including the new stuff. Testament everything, Agony "The first Defiance" the most underated thrash album ever. Amazing guitar work and great songs ...check if you can download it somewhere, awesome.

Hi !

Overall the MM is just a better pickup compared to the Megadrive. The MM have a life to it that even almost  :D  bring my cr@ppy pod xt to life. The Barknucklepickups are real craftmanship. Comparing theese two pickups is like to comparing a Porsche 944 to Porsche Carrera 4S

hAILS MAN
not to Boicott or something like that
just a little bit advice.
i have a Nailbomb bridge, and my ONLY compliment is when it comes to Black/death Blastpicking(i call it that way,but it is alsoknown as Speed Picking/Tremolo )
it kinda sounds little muddy,or toomuch tight when i Palm Mute the tremolo Blastpicking.
appart from that? No compliments at all.
in fact, this pickup is amazing.really.crushes and etc.
the perfect pickup for instrumental metal Shred, Heavy and HARD ROCK(Particularly this style)

check out my videos with the charvel
terrorizer and lock up .
they are recorded with the Nailbomb Bridge.

Ok  i always working on getting a better cooler sound then Metallica? love the sound on "Ride the lightning" but with a more modern voice to it..i'm very close now with the Jackson DA with the MM straight in the Savage 120

Great Savage 120 clip below Metallica "Creeping Death"... think this with a MM or a Nailbomb !

Sounds awesome, which clip had the Miracle Mna or Nailbomb in though, i got confused, is it the Creeping Death one or the one below Creeping Death? Also what wood is the DA?
