Recently I dug out my Carl Martin Trem-o-Vibe. It still works great and is dead silent. Buttery tremolo and the usual vibatro-tones. You can switch between them by footknob.

I feel this way about my Tele every time I decide it doesn't get enough use - then I plug it in and realise how daft I'm being.

I could play our four sets with a tele, not with a strat. Ik take both on stage, but if I had to choose for one, it will be the tele. You can play nearly everything with it.

Yeah I'll take that one. Looks like a badass guitar to me. I love dodgy looking guitars.

Send me some cash and you can have it

I prefer a guitar to look a bit 'lived-in' too, people always comment on my guitars being old, but they just get used and I'm not out with the polish and a cloth every five minutes.

I still have my first "real" electr. guitar, a '69 Fender Strat ('70's headstock). It has been thru a lot and, these days,i don't use it very often anymore ,to say the least :?...But,every time i plug it, i'm amazed !It's always the same thing but i always manage to  forget about it ! Yesterday was one of those days...I thought "hey, why not try it with my Renegade?" I plugged it  and BANG ! Once again,i couldn't stop playing...like if it was a whole new instrument i was discovering ...It brings me real inspiration and magic,i don't know why..it's far from being a perfect guitar,it has flaws and is not easy to play...but it can sound godly  :) Today,i did it again and all the magic was still there  8)!Have you ever heard about magical guitars  :D?

How about letting it to a luthier do a setup, it can get much better...

Yes my F1 fascination started in 1976 when I went  to secondary school and although I have enjoyed many seasons of good racing since - it is that Golden 70s era that holds the most magic for me still.

If you watch footage of the races you realise how primitive (and unsafe) it was compared to today's standards - it was so much more down to the driver back then

Here is the whole 1976 season highlights I made a playlist of on YouTube

That's brilliant Jonathon :)  i'll be having a good look through those!  i'm guessing you were a James Hunt fan then?
the drivers had a lot more respect on track in those days too, they understood that not giving each other space could end up with very serious consequences, which makes their amazing driving all the more remarkable.  there are few things as thrilling as watching Gilles Villeneuve wringing the neck of his Ferrari
