BKP for a Dean ML '79

Hey BKP'ers out there!

I am currently on the market for a BKP pickup; Its going to sit as bridge position in my Dean ML '79 which already has a BillLawrence XL500R as a neck pickup - The guitar is a mahogany body, with maple top; a mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard -

You've probably already guessed that i am looking for a metal tone, abit judas priest'ish and pantera'ish, and preferably with a certain degree of warmth-

I am currently stuck between the Painkiller or the Aftermath, but i am very unsure as all of the contemporary pickups are very diffrent -

i find the painkiller a bit cold sounding. aftermath or miracle man i reckon.

Priest and Pantera just scream for a Painkiller! Don't think it would be too cold in such a big mahogany monster, the guitar should provide enough warmth and the PK gives you the tightness and bite!

That Lawrence L-500R is a very loud pickup for the neck position. You will need a very loud bridge pickup to compete with that - at least something with the output of the Miracle Man. Painkiller seems to be appropriate.

Pantera and priest certainly dont say 'warm' tones to me. Based on the pantera and priest thing, then, I'd say PK.

the PK sounds nothing like Pantera, imo
had a tribute band and tried several models in the same guitar by that time
closest thing was definitely the cold sweat
very cowboys/vulgar display sounding, specially on leads and harmonics
miracle man was too bassy and modern sounding and the pinch harmonics get too fat (Dime's harmonics are quite sharp)
painkiller is way too middy and lead tone was too round and a bit nasal
I'd consider the ceramic nailbomb, but I can't comment on that, and for such a big slab of mahogany, the cold sweat still  would be my first choice
