Those $%&#ing amplifiers!

What im seriously considering too is a Laboga Mr. Hector. The Price is within my budget. I've tried one too and i was stunned! The only concern i have is the lack of a presence knob.

Opinions?

I had Mr.Hector about 2 years...Good amp with earth shaking bottom end..Exellent for thrash metal pm licks think Anihillator,Slayer....I donīt recomend it for 7string guitar or just guitars tuned lower than C...Before I had Mesa DR 3ch and after Hector I went again with Mesa DR but older 2ch...Now I use Krank Rev+ and rack Engls and for stuff I play /Exodus,Cataract,Hatebreed,Slayer/ I couldnīt find better choice...

It sounds Peavey or Mesa to me...But you know you can use clean ch of any amp and boost it with any distortion to get proper grind/death tone

edited:When I played in one grind/crust/core band many years ago a used Mesa dual recto on red ch with lower gain boosted by boss metal zone with gain at 0 and volume max think Nasum,Cannibal Corpse....I also used HM-2 pedal to get that sweet /bloodbath,entombed/ Swedish tone...

For your music style you canīt beat it....I had 60W version which is not bad but the newer 100W itīs quite better...Pure sickness.....
