Hanson Guitars

Hi there,

Has anyone heard of (or play or own) a Hanson guitar? Check them out: www.hansonguitars.com/

I'm really into their take on a Les Paul, the 'Gatto Deluxe.' (see pic below). Here's the ProGuitarShop review: http://youtu.be/VNDPnNosMwE

Coil Splitting and 60s style neck with jumbo frets for $599. A lot of people seem to dig the 'Cigno' model too. What do we think?

There's something reminiscent of the a Gretsch Jupiter Thunderbird about neck end of the body.
There are 10 kinds of people who understand binary.

Looking at their site, I quite like the Firenze models.  The one with 3 mini-humbuckers reminds me (rather a lot!) of a Schecter Hellcat.

BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

That is rather similar looking! I like the look of both.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Yeah, the Firenze is appealing. Don't know anything about this brand.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

My local guitar store sells them, and I've tried them there (I know the owner and he was so impressed by them that he wanted me to check them out).  They are very nice guitars, the feel is good and the workmanship seems good too.   I tried a 3 p-90 pickup model, the 3 mini-humbuckers with Bigsby and a 2 humbucker.  I liked all of them but would change the pickups straight away!

So many pickups, so little time

Cheers, sounds good! They look right up my alley and are a fair price. I found out the company started out making pickups for bass, before moving onto guitar pickups, then recently, the actual guitars. I imagine I would swap out their pickups for good old bare knuckles though.
