The Darkness - Hammersmith, 25/11/11

Went to see them last night. Awesome. Brian May even turned up for a cover of Tie Your Mother Down, he then stayed on for I Believe in a Thing Called Love.

The best gig I have been too for a while. Ears still ringing and I now want a LP Standard or LP Custom.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Yeah - if I was ever to go for an LP I would probably have to go for something custom made with a Fender style neck and fretboard. I just don't get on with the flatter radius of a Gibson!

If I were to go for a custom Strat or Tele, it would have to have a Gibson style neck & fretboard!

I love the Darkness! The saviours of rock 'n' roll!

Good to see they're still a good live band.

I saw them on the opening night of their 1st arena tour a while back and it was cool.

A really skinny guy with a white les paul going around the ceiling on a tiger while soloing is an image I won't forget for a while!

They've been great each time I have seen them. One of my mates saw them on their very first tour at the Alley Cat in Reading. Even with only 12 people there Justin was on someone's shoulders during Love on the rocks........
