
This is what im thinking of. The E2. I don't know if it was ever released but it looks like a nifty little box. perfect product to use with the modular stuff. If you want versatile than that seems like a cost effective little tool.
We're still waiting patiently for it some 5 years after it was supposed to be out
Fantastic concept - allows you to use your amps preamp channels too and adds 2modules = 4 more channels to your amp setup.
I think the modular series may rear it's head again in the next year - following the success of the tweaker
After all the modular is the tweaker taken to it's logical conclusion
As you know I am a fan
I might suggest a Randall RM100 or a Lynchbox or Hammet modular amp if you can find one
Then you can choose 3 modules of your choice and completely have your cake and eat it
And over time if you want a different flavour all you have to do is slide out the module and slip another in
There are some GREAT modified modules from Salvation mods as well
