That is really cool. Even if you didn't want microtones, you could still set it up like those squiggly frets that make for perfect intonation everywhere. Thinking about the mechanics side, it does seem very hard to guarantee a perfect level on the frets. I wonder what the action is like on that.

to be fair - classicals are not unknown to have  4-5mm actions at the 12th fret.

but yes, i also had concerns about the levelling.  i dont see this ever being viable as a production instrument but as a tool for studing scales and fret placement/compensation it is invaluable7

Its a nylon string guitar, they do always have quite high action.
