Got my Aftermath 7 fitted today and had it's first gig. WOW. Never had such a good guitar sound in 8 years of gigging. Still can't believe the clarity. As soon as i can afford it I'm ripping the blackouts from my schecter and putting one in there too  :D Any suggestions for a neck pickup for a 7 to compliment the Aftermath? Looking for the warmest sound possible while still being able to properly voice the odd pinch harmonic.

You could simply go for an aftermath neck - not sure if I'd describe it as "warm" though, but if you're into fluid leads and pinch harmonics it might be a good choice (at least, for me it definitely was). A VHII in the neck is another excellent choice according to what I've heard (I've got a feeling it's going to be the neck pickup on my next 7 stringer). Btw, I have a cold sweat in the neck in a mahogany bodied superstrat style guitar (6 string), and I absolutely love it. Very warm, excellent definition for fast lead playing - and it does the pinch harmonics job very well.

Cheers for that. The cold sweat is what I had in mind but will definitely look further into the VHII
