We actually want discourse now? Wonderful.

Because being glad a person whose only wronged by in a rubbish deal has died is stupid. The only consideration he should be due from any sensible person in that situation is, at most, is "I think he's a prick and I hope if that's how he does business then I hope he goes bust". And obviously a legal pursuit if all you say is accurate. That's it.

He was Hitler of the guitar world? How can that accusation be made by any thinking person?

Some perspective on the world is a glorious thing.

I'm glad he won't be scamming any kids anymore (he sold an import Chuck Schulidner Stealth to a kid who was a big Death fan and wanted a guitar like Chuck's as his first, and advertised it as a custom shop BC Rich, priced as such) but I hardly take any joy in his death.

I haven't posted in this thread so far because I don't know who Ed Roman is, I don't know a fraction of what you guys know about the guitar world, but I can't believe I just read someone compare a shady businessman to Hitler - really?  If he has been ripping off designs from other builders and deceiving customers then fair enough, let's call him a tw*t or whatever, but Hitler?

I wouldn't say that I am particularly PC, but I don't take pleasure in hearing about the death of a man just because he deceived people.  I think we need to keep a sense of perspective.

I dunno if it's "knickers in a bunch" so much as "Goodness, what an exasperatingly stupid statement".

Ah, the humble ad hominen.

So we've that, the falling a back on insult, the Nazi comparison, the knickers in a twist, the I can't be bothered (follow by being bothered)...

Any more comedy internet cliches for the inefficient debater you wish to trot out?

EDIT: You've still got "I was just trying to get a reaction, anyway" and "Ha, me and my mates are having such a laugh at this thread"?

You seem to have taken this personal Mr. Moral Police. Now, i hope i'm going to make this clear for you.
Not that you had anything useful to add to all of this in the first place, all you do at this point is just trolling and trying to get any response, in which you then cry foul and prolonging this for the amusement for your own conceited intellect.

Sorry my man but, as much as it seems the other way around, you more than likely haven't got a clue at how low on the "i give a damn" you and your opinions are. Your cookie cutter responses, as to why i should feel the way YOU think i should feel are comical at best. No, it doesn't work that way i'm afraid.
No matter on how tall a moral high ground you think are, you're just prolonging a pointless fight, that you thought you must start, just to defend a criminal and prove me wrong.
You've forgotten your own line, you so carefully hide yourself behind. Everything you read is an opinion, there is no right or wrong. Do care to disregard it if you do not agree with it. Your life will be less stressful for it. Now, have a good rest of the night.

Brilliant. Though I'm glad you decided to actually type a real reply again.

What I'm doing quite clearly isn't trolling by any stretch of the imagination, 'tis partially for my own amusement though, yes, because I wanted to hear the daft Hitler comparison and the glee over someone relatively insignificant's death justified, rather than just avoided after it was questioned.

I'm fairly confident I do. It'll be twice as high, more or less, as how much I'm concerned with people calling me a PC ####!! is.

PC ####!! and bleeding heart auto-responses are cookie cutter, old chum. Actually thought through sentences less so, I feel.

I in no way defended a criminal. You misread (or simply imagined) that, several times again after it was clarified (which it shouldn't have needed to be), apparently. Nor did I attempt to prove you wrong, I just called your distasteful "Oooh Yeah!" statement appalling, and your incredibly silly Hitler comparison idiotic.
