my ma has a little heart attack on xmas eve, she is doing well and most likely out of hospital tomorrow - but its a bit scary

Roo, You could point out that Christians did not celebrate Christmas until the 4th century when the Pope decided to crush Roman mid winter orgies by turning them into a 'holy' day.  Tends to upset all but the fundamentalists, who are likely to agree with you.

I hope your Mum gets better soon Wez. A good friend of mine had one a few months back.He is fine now and you'd never know it.

So sorry to hear that Wez, I've been in the same position with my Mum some time back. If you need to ask anything just pm me.

It is horrible but a well travelled road in modern medicine so I'm sure she will be much better soon.
