Why are some pickups not in the Product list?
« on: January 31, 2006, 08:39:14 PM »
Specifically the Cold Sweat, Abraxas, Rebel Yell and Painkiller.

From what I gather the latter two (RY and PK) may be too new but I see people saying they've played them.  The Cold Sweat and Abraxas I've seen mentioned in months old threads and I've heard a great sound clip of the Cold Sweat and had it recommended to me.  Why isn't it listed on the Product page?

The Cold sweat and the Abraxas should be up on there soon. The Rebel yell hasn't been finalized and the Painkiller has not been sold to any one yet, its just a proto type that Tim is working on.
The New site will go up soon with more info than you can shake a stick at and soundclips for each pickup!

any idea when the new site will be up, mr pig?

I'm incredibly indecisive, and controlled sound clips, like the ones i think you said tim recorded, would be a massive help.

Also, any chance of putting up the D.C. resistance of the neck versions of the pickups, and a rough EQ on the info pages? That'd be great too.

Thanks!

It shouldn't be too long now, studio time is approching fast. There will DC resistance for necks, and a full EQ for each and every pickup plus more indepth descriptions including what guitars and styles of music they are best suited to!

They will be up very shortly mr spleen! :-) I'm on the case.

We cannot yet give a time frame on the new site because as with most busy people, priorities have to be made. And Tim and Steves priority is ensuring that you guys get the best pickups! :-)  When we can guarantee a release date, you guys will be the first to know!

LOL. Yeah I am a bit busy at the moment! So sorry for the absence. But fear not, I am still contributing to make sure the BK Forum stays the biggest baddest place in town! :D (and yes I did let that banana thread slip though - just this once!! ;-) )

Mwahahahahaha!!
