That is a great way to start the new year. I was only reading an interview with him a few weeks back (think it was in Guitarist) where he said that he really missed not having that LP any longer!

Would love to hear exactly how it got found, how it was investigated etc.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Peter Frampton was on the cover of the first issue of Guitar Player I bought in 1981, with that very guitar.  Because of that mag, I bought several Humble Pie albums and some of his solo stuff, and I've always liked his playing since then.

I remember him talking about the gear he lost in the plane crash, in that interview.  Wonder what happened to the rest of the stuff on the cargo plane?

Lucky man, he lost a load of guitars in the floods last year in the States as well. So this will make up for some of those and some.  :D
