I always had that tone improvement x loudness impression with the miracle man
it sounded quite boxy and thin when I tested it at very low volumes, and the louder I played it, better it sounded in every aspect
it really grows at band volume, especially with 100w tube amps

So true! The louder you play the better the Miracle Man just sounds!

All the better to know.  I'm looking forward to both the NBc and the PK.
I've definitely noticed the same with the C-Bomb as well. I was actually on the verge of selling it but, I tweaked the pickup height a bit (holy hell, I've NEVER heard another company's pickup height make that much of a difference!) and cranked up the ol' 6505+ and now this puppy ain't going anywhere!

I just read that if you have Hex pieces instead of the the screw pieces that it provides an even tighter bass response on for the Nailbomb-C.  Is this true?  Does anyone know anything about this, and is it an available option?

Yes, but I really don't think it's necessary with that pup. It's already fairly tight down low. Not sure if it's an option from the BKP guys but, you can always find the right thread/screw size and do it yourself.

I suppose so, but it may be helpful since I use C#

I've heard that as well. I like the look of the hex heads and wish I had gotten that in my green C-Bomb (just have one row of black screw heads). Tim and his crew are great at doing anything and I don't think it costs extra, except for gold. You can ask for covered or uncovered with hex heads, both rows, one row. I'd like to see burnt chrome with black hex heads. And you can do this with any model, not just the two normally pictured (Warpig and Aftermath). Also, if not previously mentioned, Tim compensates how covered pickups are wound vs uncovered to not loose output. I really don't notice the difference (probably because of the volume).

I asked Tim about black pole pieces a week ago, and he informed me that in Europe, they can no longer get black plating, and all other finished come off the moment you use a Screw Driver on them.
