BK Manhattan P90's Goodbye 2.11
« on: January 10, 2012, 05:44:26 PM »
Last track I recorded in 2011 played on a Hamer Newport Pro with a set of BK Manhattan's recently installed. These pups are tone monster for my old lay back style of music.

Liked that a lot, both the playing and the noises. Thanks for posting it up, we don't get too many jazz laid back numbers here, it's refreshing.

Just hated the riddim box, but the lead guitar tones, oh man... I definitly need a P90 guitar, there's no better clean tone on earth.
Have: Crawlers, BGF 50/52s, Mules, ABomb, RiffRaff
Had : Slowhands (n&m), Trilogy (b)

Not sure how you can do a multi-quote on here. Many thanks for the thumbs up.

Hi there I agree and have just remixed it without the "Riddim Box". I have had several P90 guitars but these Manhattan's for me are by far the best I have ever played. BK's best kept secret or what

Thanks for the comments much appreciated.

Not sure how you can do a multi-quote on here.

The old way: quote the first one, submit, quote the second one, copy, don't submit, edit your post and paste, lather, rinse, repeat. Or if you have a multi-tab browers, quote each post in a separate tab and copy-paste everything in the first one.

Hi sounds very nice.  Great that you posted about this pickup.  Been one I have had my eye on for a long time. Unfortunatly it is one that there has few clips.  So this really helps. Cheers :D

Due to studio updates the Hamer Newport Pro with the Manhattan's is up for sale on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280820992868?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_594wt_1396
One of those sales that I suspect I will regret in the future but what must be must be  :(
