Piezo help for PRS McCarty Hollow Body II
« on: January 12, 2012, 03:08:15 PM »
Hey Guys,

I have this guitar and the low E on the piezo bridge pickup is super low, almost non-existent.  I was playing around with the intonation one day and was about the flip the low E saddle around for extra adjustment but forgot about the wire soldered to it for the piezo.  Now it does not work.
The solder is still tacked to the bottom of the piezo and if i pull on the wire it seems to be still connected and not loose.
If I push the volume up on the amp, I do get some kinda sound..

My question is, how do I go about taking this piezo out to look over the connections and what not?
I'm guessing the bridge pickup needs to come out...?

Thanks in advance!

Mississippi Queen Set = Gibson SG Standard
Warpig = '88 Charvel Model 1

Opened battery compartment and saw individual volume pots for each string. Did nothing for the low E volume.
