I'd like them more if the fathers offered were more up to date whilst keeping the retro look:

Ehh?

Argh!
Curse you AUTOCORRECT

The new Mac OSX Lion has this stupid autocorrect on it when you use Safari (same as on the iPhone) and it will correct words that didn't ned changing.

The word I typed was features, not fathers!

Jonathan - No need to go to NAMM - this has got it all - Old Ned, Fathers, very retro - what more could you ask for?

The accordeon input is an old Ampeg thing. It's actually just an input designed for other instruments and high output or active pickups.

 :P

I enjoyed NAMM the two times that I went although wish I could have more time to look around it all

Wouldn't mind going again and Southern California in Jan can seem warm and sunny compared to an often chilly UK

Ah - that'll be ok then - I just have an aversion to accordions (and banjos) :o

aah the Natas. Thats not new for Namm though. Still a cool head. Some of the controls were a source of debate, being that there was a accusation they were taken from the Larry amps (or one of the Larry amps). Namely the 'girth' and 'grind' controls, but they allegedly come from an old Garnet tone circuit.

Still, does mixed output valves and all kinds of crazy things. Mike Fortin knows his stuff.
