Anyway, I always think of Zildjian as The Cymbals, though Sabian (which split off from Zildjian some years back and is a fierce competitor) are pretty generally as good to my inexpert ears. Of course, mad drummers argue constantly about which is really better (just like mad guitarists will :)).
Bonham used Paiste, didn't he? Can't have been all bad, then. On the other hand, Bonham could have played a trash can lid and made it rock. :)
Drumming is fun; I've plunked myself behind the kit sometimes at jam sessions, and while my technique isn't much, I've got rhythm and a decent enough sense for the song (and that took Ringo everywhere! :)). Wish some of the actual drummers I've played with had that! Though nothing lifts a band like a proper good drummer .....
I keep thinking it would be fun to learn conga or something. :) So many instruments, so little time. Ah well!
