I already have Sinner Single coils in my Strat with 280K pots and .022 PIO cap X 5-way switch. Nice. However, I am wanting to load up a new pickgaurd with the following PUPS to create an HSS version of my Strat:
Warpig Alnico V HB in the bridge and RW Sinner in the mid and Sinner in the neck. I'd stick with the 280K pots but go with a .033 Wax and Tin cap. I think this is a reasonable combo. My style? Loud, tube amp, Metal - just metal not too picky about what I want to call it. Point is, I already like the Sinners I have in my Strat and I love the Warpig ceramic I have in the bridge of my Gibson LP. It just seems like a nice combo for an HSS.
