MM for Bunya guitar ?
« on: February 09, 2012, 09:21:56 PM »
Heya

I have a nailbomb set in 1 guitar and love it .

My 2nd guitar is an aussie made tele style  . body is Bunya , with a blackwood neck and rose wood fretboard . I have an SD alt 8 in there at the momonet. Liked the PU for ages , and still do but am looking for a change. I'm looking for something a little tighter and smoother in the mids so the MM jumps out

trouble is after googling bunya seems to be not a heavily used wood for electric bodies . Anyone know if the MM would suit it

whoops forgot to add I play thru a dual recto . my band and tones is kinda perfect circle, FNM ish

doin some reading it seems bunya is most simliar to spruce ? so would MM set be a good choice for a spruce body electirc ?
