Finally built my pedal board
« on: February 11, 2012, 10:28:47 PM »
It's been a long time coming but I finally got it finished... well almost. I just need to make up my George L patch leads and swap all the screws out for black headed ones and it's done... for now. Having a 3 tiered board makes tap dancing alot easier and I have room to add more if I wanted too, but the good thing for me is that I incorporated my Sennheiser G2 into the board which means it's all connected and set up is 1 less lead. I'm happy with how it's turned out and now have a Boss BCB60 and a Keeley angled board that I can sell.

That looks great Don.

I used to use a massive board like that myself, can't say I miss all the acrobatics of trying to reach the pedals at the back!

Hope it works out for you.

Is that MXR a tubescreamer clone?

pedalboards rule, since getting my pedaltrain I couldn't imagine going back to setting up at every gig - such a time saver.

Nice looking board and wauw it's tidy!  :D

The velcro on my board is very loose and doesn't stick properly anymore so I'm thinking about new ways of securing the pedals in a way so they're still easy to move around. Any good suggestions (sorry for a bit of hijacking)?

Thanks fellas, nice to have some good comments on something I put together myself rather than a fancy off the shelf board.

Alex, I'm not really sure how the MXR Classic Od would compare with a tubescreamer to be honest. I generally use my amps overdive as I haven't found any pedal that compares and the MXR and Crunchbox are there for if ever I just want to use my Crate PowerBlock into a cab.
